One of the nice things about the new version of Mail on a Mac is it finds common date formats and lets you add them to the calendar with context. Unfortunately, Gmail doesn’t do that (yet?) but you can add the email as a calendar item.
In this video, I’ll take a reminder email that we get a lot and add it to the Google Calendar, and also set it to annual repeating so I’ll see it every year.
One cool feature that this has is when you view the calendar event in the future it links back to the original email!
